Happy Monday, everyone. Hopefully you were able to get some golf in this weekend before this unfortunate, if needed, rainy day today. Days like today are a good one to remind our customers that we have indoor launch monitors available for booking to get your swings in while staying dry.

It was double barrel action on the PGA Tour this week with a signature event in Philadelphia and an alternate field tournament in Myrtle Beach. Sepp Straka took home the win at Philadelphia Golf and Cricket Club while Ryan Fox chipped in for the win in a playoff over Mackenzie Hughes and Harry Higgs in Myrtle Beach. Next up on deck is the PGA Championship this week at Quail Hollow where it is possible, however unlikely, that Jordan Speith could make it two Career Grand Slam winners in a row after Rory got his at the Masters. Its always a strange feeling that there will be two majors in the books before our golf season in Calgary really gets going.

On the LPGA Tour, Jeeno Thitikul raced out to an early lead and never gave it back to win at Liberty National for her fifth career title. It’s a good time to find her form as the LPGA will play four majors in the next 12 weeks.

Club Gapping at Leading Edge Golf

Our Gapping Sessions are performed on our Trackman Indoor Optimized Launch Monitors set at Calgary’s altitude, general playing conditions, and using the golf ball you usually play with. During your session you will hit all of your clubs to get an average carry and total distance. From there we can determine if there are any holes in the gapping that can be addressed by bending lofts or other simple adjustments.
