Leading Edge Golf Weekly Roundup – 5/20

(Click here for the full, media-rich version of this newsletter on leadingedgegolf.ca)

Hopefully you all had a nice Victoria Day weekend where the longstanding Calgary tradition of planning golf and camping and then cancelling it due to rain or snow was certainly upheld.

For those of us that stayed inside on Sunday we saw Scottie Scheffler make it rain in the final round of the PGA Championship.  What set up as an exciting Sunday with a stacked leaderboard fell victim to the increasingly common tradition of Scheffler blitzing the field and proving himself as by far the best player in men’s golf.  Even after a shaky first few holes, Scheffler grabbed control of the tournament and won by five strokes after a final hole bogey as players around him ejected.  Next up is the US Open in less than a month from Oakmont where Scheffler will look for the third leg of the men’s Grand Slam.

As mentioned in last week’s newsletter we are now available for gapping sessions using Trackman’s new Map My Bag feature.  This excellent tool helps us seamlessly work through a gapping session and provide the information directly to your palm in your Trackman app.  Our introductory offer price of $75 for the hour ($50 with club purchase) is still available for a short time so book your session now at 403-640-0082.
