So apparently it’s June already. May absolutely flew by here at Ted & Dave’s as the arrival of warmer weather meant we were fully booked for fittings most weekends. After the long winter this has been a phenomenal start to the season and we hope you have been enjoying it out of the course!
Jason Zuback Drops In to Crunch Numbers (and Drives)
Five time World Long Drive Champion Jason Zuback dropped by in May to test out some new shafts and check his numbers on our FlightScope and Foresight monitors. What a treat it was to watch a long drive legend crush drives from our bay and to help him dial in his launch conditions. Some advice from Jason: “Even if you don’t understand how your launch and club delivery numbers affect distance, find an expert in the field to help you! Distance doesn’t have to be hard, you just need to know your numbers!”
Paul Horton’s Driver Fitting
2017 PGA of Canada National Coach of the Year Paul Horton came by to be fit for his Callaway Rogue Driver and Fairway wood. It’s always fun when Paul comes by and we often find ourselves learning something.
Grip Blowout
Our grip blowout continues as we have some old stock of grips that we are blowing out right now for $4/grip (+$2/grip install). We even have some Putter grips in there now for $20 (+$2 install). Get ’em quick while there are still some full sets available.
