It was a bit of a quieter week in golf this weekend with a weaker field showing up for the Mexico Open.  Rookie Jake Knapp eventually took the tournament and punched his ticket to Augusta.

The LPGA was back for the start of its Asia swing and Patty Tavatanakit won in her home country of Thailand after getting up and down for birdie on the 72nd hole.

Rory jumped into the broadcast booth last weekend after finishing his round which was fun to watch.  While watching Scottie Scheffler continue to struggle with his putting he suggested that Scottie should try a mallet.  Hey Scottie, we would be happy to dial you in and we’ll even consider waiving the fitting fee if you take an instagram picture with Mark!

Will Zalatoris plays the Titleist T150 irons but is using a T350 (aka, a more forgiving, “game improvement” club) as his 3 iron.  More and more players at the highest level are using split iron sets and this is exactly the kind of customization we can do for our customers at our fittings.

GolfWRX had a look back at some of the driver and shaft combinations that were put in play last week at Riviera.
