Hey everyone, we hope you had a wonderful Family Day long weekend.  We are feeling recharged and looking forward to a week of nice fitting weather.

What a wild weekend in golf.  Friday got weird with Tiger withdrawing because of illness (but we’re not ruling out his back factoring in after it locked up on his Thursday shank on 18) and Jordan Spieth being disqualified after signing for an incorrect score (which may have also been related to illness).  Patrick Cantlay held a commanding weekend lead but was chased down by Hideki Matsuyama after his 62 on Sunday.  Recent winners at Riviera have done well at Augusta, so Hideki will be someone to watch in April.

To carry on the weird theme, Canadian Stephen Ames won (sorta) on the Champions Tour making it two weeks in a row (sorta) for Canadians.  We say sorta because the final round was rained out, and with Champions Tour events being only 3 rounds to start with, Stephen was acclaimed as the winner after only 36 holes of play.  Even LIV golfers think that’s a short tournament.  But hey, Stephen beat the field by three strokes over the two days that could be played and will still be cashing that first place cheque, so congratulations, Stephen!

Tiger, as you almost certainly know, debuted a new clothing line this week called Sun Day Red.  Check out the photos from the release here.  It’s too bad we didn’t get to see more of this on the weekend to get a better sense of the look.  What do you think of the new line?

It’s great to see Will Zalatoris back on tour and playing well after his back injury last year.  His caddie agrees, after he landed a free car when Will made a hole in one on Friday.
