Leading Edge Golf Weekly Roundup – 6/10

Anyone else looking forward to a long shower and watering their lawn sometime next week?
Scottie Scheffler won again. SHOCKER. After having the charges against him dropped by the Louisville PD last week, Scheffler dropped the elevated field at the Memorial to win his fifth tournament in 8 starts. Once again, we are witnessing historic golf and the US Open awaits at Pinehurst this weekend.
Linnea Strom won the Shoprite LPGA Classic after shooting a blistering 60 on Sunday. Strom was near the bottom of the leaderboard to start the day and started in the third tee time. She hung her score up early and no one touched it for the rest of the day. It ain’t over till it’s over.
Hit the Links!
Just your standard shot off of pavement next to a pub over a hotel onto the 18th green at St. Andrews. Legend has it that Ernie Els was the first to attempt this at approximately 4am with the owner of the Dunvegan Hotel.
Sebastian Soderberg had what seemed like an insurmountable lead on the DP World Tour this weekend (spoiler alert: it wasn’t). The implosion was capped by an absolutely evil 270° lip out on a two foot bogey putt that would have put him in a playoff. You hate to see it.
